Desaprint is presenting the advanced digital fabrication techniques both additive and subtractive manufacturing. The main focus of the course is preparing architects and designer to understand the benefits and challenges of additive manufacturing (3d Printing). The course offers participants learn the basics of additive manufacturing, its principles, the materials involved and operate several types of 3D printer, and gain insights into a variety of technologies, such FDM, SLA, SLS, BJ, and MJ. They also Become familiar with the complete workflow of 3D printing, including computational design tools, file formats, toolpath generation, scanning, and microstructure characterization. One of the most important characteristics of the course is to allow participants to gain hands-on experience with a variety of 3D printing machines (Formlabs2, Ultimaker3Extended, BigrepOne, Projet660Pro, and Makerbot2x) and use these machines to fabricate example parts, post-process the parts, and study the results.
In Fablab, we plan to hold this course every semester in order to make a big community of designers how desired to develop their idea via digital fabrication machines especially 3D printers. To follow this course, please look at the link: https://www.instagram.com/desaprint
