Mohammadhossein Kasraei is an architect and researcher in fields of design and digital fabrication and its implications for the future of making. He is a Co-founder of Fablab Iran where he also is the coordinator and tutor in design and digital fabrication. He received his undergraduate degree in 2010 and master of architecture in 2012 from Art University of Tehran before working as a professional architect and designer. He has managed and designed a full range of architecture and digital fabrication projects, spanning from interior design to landscape from initial studies to detailing. He has multi-disciplinary interests, which are demonstrated in his design and researchers. His research interests are in the area of Islamic architecture, computational design, and fabrication. He also founded 5O7studio in 2011 as an architectural design studio and has been working there as an architect and designer. He likes science, technology, digital fabrication machines and also is a TED talks’ fan!
